I'm honestly a bit shocked that Christie Clark never returned, she was one of the first I thought would be back for 50th.
ITA. I'm also very surprised that they haven't brought back Charles Shaughnessy. Over the summer, he couldn't shoot because he was doing theater on the east coast, but he has been back on the west coast for several months. I heard there were some bts issues with Patsy Pease, so I wonder if they feel like they can't bring Shane in without Kim. It's ridiculous that Shane has never met his grandson or came to his daughter's aid when his granddaughter was killed.
I have seen posts like this for months now but nothing concrete. What is the issue with Patsy Pease? She's been back several times in the last couple of years so where is this coming from?
I mean...there have been well known issues with her for years. They've had her back several times and haven't kept her despite a very obvious campaign from her and JL to get them to.

She had a foray into the web soap world where secrets are harder to keep.

You mean her issues in the early 90s?

I'm sure there are plenty of actors who want to come back long term even if TPTB only want them back for visits.

Are those secrets not allowed to be posted here?

I'm sure there are, but most of them don't have an onscreen kid floundering around the canvas with a serious lack of ties.

I guess it depends on if people are comfortable sharing or not. Perhaps the secret is "there were some bts issues" with her.

As much as I've disliked the stories, the character usage stats have seemingly been a bit more balanced the last few months. I still think a few folks like KA and GG could afford to be rested, but I do appreciate that there is a bit more balance overall.

Thanks for the stats, Jason.
I don't think the stats really represent what's been happening though..... ( they are a good start) but some people's episode counts can be for a two minute segment or non speaking episode ( DH and DH) other people seem to have there character's every waking moment on screen...

Does anyone know where I can watch Days online other than nbc.com? My NBC affiliate doesn't show Days during the daytime and my DVR broke. Help please!

Hey, Jason...did you see the Daytime Confidential item where Days was told to stop writing until Sony and NBC reach a deal?

Is this something that is a big cause for concern? Or has it happened before? Have you heard rumblings either way?

I did see that report, but based on what's been said here, not too concerned. Michael said on January 20 that a deal had been worked out, so I'm hopeful for a good conclusion to all of this!

1. Pop cable channel
2. nbc.com
3. youtube -- you gotta be quick. do a search and maybe find it before it gets yanked

Google is your friend. There appear to be some rogue sites out there. Would never recommend any.

Honestly, if I were you, I would go to Goodwill, buy a $8 VCR, scrounge around for a videotape and cords and pretend like its 1996. I won't pay $120 a year for the cable company to hold my recordings, so I still record the old way.

VCRs are basically disposable. I have five in reserve and paid less than $5 for each. When 1 breaks, just plug in a new one.

If you shop for one, try to find one that has a remote or at least a button on the front that allows you to program the machine. Or you could do it the way my mom did it back in the 80s. Plop in a 6 hour tape and hit record.

Also, if you have DVR setup, the VCR has to go between the box and the TV. Picture might be wonky as well. I just watch in letterbox format.
